Description

  • Define and execute the roadmap for the Data Intelligence Platform in alignment with the CPO’s strategy.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 5–8 Product Managers across Europe and the US.
  • Drive development of AI agents that enable conversational discovery and proactive data governance.
  • Own relationships with industry analysts such as Gartner and Forrester.
  • Position Actian as a leader in data management and governance categories.
  • Partner closely with the SVP of Product Engineering to translate product vision into cloud-native, AI-driven execution.
  • Serve as the product face to Chief Data Officers and data governance leaders.
  • Help enterprise customers modernize their data stacks and transition from legacy systems to a unified AI-driven platform.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership role managing other Product Managers.
  • Deep, hands-on experience in the modern data stack, such as data catalog, governance, data mesh, or data quality.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML, LLMs, and how AI agents can automate metadata extraction and user interaction.
  • Experience operating successfully in both startup environments and large global enterprise organizations.
  • Proven ability to turn high-level CPO/CPTO vision into actionable technical milestones for engineering teams.
  • Experience managing distributed teams across multiple time zones, including the US West Coast and Central Europe.
  • Exceptional English communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to executive audiences.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and AI-driven development workflows.
  • Preferred: Experience engaging with C-suite stakeholders, especially Chief Data Officers and data governance leaders.
