Description

  • Own the end-to-end solution go-to-market strategy for Acquia's platform and Drupal offering, including positioning, messaging, narrative, and sales plays.
  • Create content and assets that communicate the story to the Drupal community, technical buyers, and the field.
  • Lead competitive go-to-market for the solution, including positioning and plays that support competitive and displacement deals and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Drive product launches end to end, including the launch calendar and cross-functional execution across Product, Sales, Enablement, and Demand Generation.
  • Build the technical-buyer narrative for CTO, CIO, and CISO audiences, along with total cost of ownership tools used by the field.
  • Partner with Sales Enablement on a value-selling framework and help prove adoption in real deals.
  • Manage and develop the Product Marketing Manager and partner with the Drupal Evangelist on a unified go-to-market.
  • Use data, customer insight, and market evaluation to guide strategy and decision-making.
  • Represent the team through presentations and demos for technical buyers, analysts, and the field.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Demonstrated Drupal experience is required.
  • Experience building on Drupal, marketing Drupal, or working closely with the Drupal community.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs end to end.
  • Experience with competitive positioning and displacement wins in technical B2B environments such as CMS, DXP, or infrastructure.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically about moments of impact.
  • AI-first working style and willingness to use AI tools to improve efficiency.
  • Strong presentation and live demo skills for technical and executive audiences.
  • Experience with value selling and understanding technical buyer concerns such as performance, security, and TCO.
  • Analyst relations experience.
  • Excellent writing skills for both practitioners and executives.
  • Preferred: Experience at a DXP, CMS, PaaS, or open-source software company.
  • Preferred: Active involvement in the Drupal community through contribution, events, or speaking.
