Description

Oversee complex large-scale projects and systems and drive technical solutions aligned with team objectives.
Define and drive technical vision and strategy across multiple projects and teams.
Lead system design and architecture discussions and shape scalable solutions.
Ensure high standards for code quality, performance, and reliability.
Lead code reviews, champion best practices, and contribute hands-on to the codebase.
Solve complex engineering problems across distributed systems, integrations, and microservices.
Mentor Senior Engineers and foster learning, growth, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Design on priorities, requirements, and dependencies.
Support leadership with technical expertise and strategic recommendations.
Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends and bring fresh ideas to the team.

Requirements

7-9+ years of experience leading back-end or full-stack projects in a Senior or Staff capacity.
Proven track record of providing technical leadership and promoting best practices and standards.
Strong strategic and architectural vision with excellent problem-solving and systems thinking skills.
Experience leading the design phase of complex projects and driving them through delivery.
Strong understanding of system design, architecture, and trade-offs.
Proficiency with Python and/or Go is advantageous; other languages are also acceptable.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
Prior experience with code reviews and mentorship of Senior Engineers.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.

Starting salary range of $150,000 to $189,000, with compensation reviewed at least annually.
