Description

  • Design and implement architecture for complex applications using React, Java, and cloud-native tools with a focus on performance, scalability, and reusability.
  • Develop and maintain user-facing and back-end systems, including high-performance front-end experiences and server-side components.
  • Create and maintain a scalable, reusable component library to ensure consistent design and functionality across the application.
  • Establish and enforce development standards, code style guides, and best practices.
  • Ensure responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility across the application.
  • Monitor and improve application performance through techniques such as lazy loading, code splitting, and caching.
  • Guide and mentor junior developers and promote best practices within the team.
  • Collaborate in a fast-paced environment and contribute to continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full stack development experience with significant experience using React and related libraries.
  • Advanced knowledge of React and its ecosystem, including Redux, Hooks, Context API, and modern TypeScript.
  • Experience with API development and best practices, including RESTful API design, versioning, authentication, rate limiting, and documentation standards such as OpenAPI/Swagger.
  • Strong understanding of synchronous and asynchronous workflows, including event-driven architecture, message queuing, promise-based patterns, async/await paradigms, and multi-threading considerations in back-end systems.
  • Expertise in microservices and/or backend web servers such as Python FastAPI or Ruby on Rails.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technical Science (preferred).
  • Previous consulting experience and understanding of customer/business needs (preferred).
  • Familiarity with modern build pipelines and tools (preferred).
  • AWS cloud infrastructure experience (preferred).
  • US citizenship required.
  • Work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship in the United States.
