Description

  • Understand, configure, and implement Linux systems using the command line in a cloud environment.
  • Monitor Cameo systems and maintain the integrity and accessibility of server resources, hardware, systems, and key processes.
  • Configure and maintain Cameo systems in a cloud environment to ensure high availability of systems and services.
  • Administer, configure, and troubleshoot user profile issues in a virtual desktop environment.
  • Monitor and optimize virtual desktop storage disk usage.
  • Create and delete user sessions and profiles in a virtual desktop environment.
  • Manage user support, user groups, permissions, and system accessibility.
  • Create, maintain, and update SOPs, RunBooks, and backlog items in an Agile environment.
  • Maintain work and change management requests in JIRA.
  • Assist information systems security and engineering teams with compliance-related security measures.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience as a Red Hat Systems Administrator.
  • Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) command line.
  • Familiarity with XRDP.
  • Knowledge of image creation and deployment for virtual desktops.
  • Understanding of managing multiple user sessions or sessman in a virtual desktop environment.
  • Knowledge of Cameo NoMagic.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
  • Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Working knowledge of JIRA.
  • IAT Level II certification within 90 days.
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills preferred.
  • An active TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • US work authorization that does not and will not require visa sponsorship is required.
