Description

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.
  • Translate user and business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with Pega developers, QA, DevOps, and product owners to deliver software features.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for reliability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding standards, best practices, and architectural discussions.
  • Support deployment activities and ensure smooth rollouts of new features across environments.
  • Work with QA teams to validate functionality, reproduce issues, and resolve defects.
  • Use monitoring and logging tools to identify and address performance issues or bottlenecks.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Java development and experience building production-ready applications.
  • Experience with Pega or integrating Java applications with Pega-based workflows, services, or APIs.
  • Ability to write high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code using industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with Git and modern version control workflows, including branching, pull requests, and peer review.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and Agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners and communicate technical concepts clearly.
  • US citizenship required.
  • Experience working with Pega PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Pega BPM concepts such as case management, rule sets, and workflow design is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience integrating Pega using REST or SOAP APIs is preferred.
  • Pega certifications such as CSA or CSSA are preferred.
  • Prior experience in enterprise-level application development environments is preferred.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices, cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, or containerized environments such as Docker or Kubernetes is preferred.
