Description

  • Collaborate with account teams, product, customer support, and partners to identify customer value and solution fit.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations for prospective customers.
  • Partner with enterprise and strategic account teams to assess customer environments and technical requirements.
  • Design and develop solutions tailored to customer data environments and technical needs.
  • Prepare technical proposals and assist with statements of work (SOWs).
  • Lead proof-of-concept (POC) implementations in customer environments and present results to stakeholders.
  • Provide internal support to sales, presales, marketing, partner, and product teams through content, demo assets, field intelligence, and training.
  • Educate the sales team on the technical aspects of data observability solutions.
  • Maintain technical documentation such as product guides, specifications, and knowledge base articles.
  • Support deal qualification with AEs and sales managers before significant technical investment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in a SaaS sales engineering role.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one cloud service provider: AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake.
  • Hands-on experience with data observability, data monitoring, data integration, and/or data quality products.
  • Strong understanding of data observability trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of the data ecosystem, including data warehouses, data lakes, and streaming data architectures.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to listen to customer needs, understand pain points, and recommend relevant solutions.
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, R, data visualization tools, and data analytics platforms is a plus.
  • Travel up to 50% to meet with prospects and customers.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and do whatever it takes to win.
