Description

  • Design, build, and operate software projects from conception through launch and ongoing operation.
  • Develop and maintain full-stack product features across the database layer and user interface, with primary ownership of backend work.
  • Collaborate with engineers to improve core email security and threat visibility offerings.
  • Work with Technical Program Managers, Product Managers, and GTM teams to implement, verify, and iterate on customer issues and requests.
  • Build tools and workflows that help SOC teams search, filter, and act on threat data more efficiently.
  • Support SOC workflow automation through products such as the AI Security Mailbox and Detection 360.
  • Mentor junior team members and share knowledge across the engineering team.
  • Contribute to the team’s work quickly and begin adding value within the first two weeks.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and help raise engineering standards.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Information Systems, or a related engineering field.
  • 3+ years of industry experience designing and building full-stack software applications.
  • Strong Python and/or Go experience.
  • Intermediate experience with React, Redux, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.
  • Experience building features and components from scratch and operating them in production.
  • Ability to balance feature development with operational responsibilities.
  • Willingness to follow pre-established guidelines, coding practices, and conventions.
  • Experience working with distributed teams and strong asynchronous, written communication skills.
  • Growth-oriented mindset with interest in increasing impact and responsibility over time.
  • Ability to use AI developer tools such as Copilot, Claude, or Cursor in daily workflow.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Django, Postgres/MySQL, and Prometheus is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AWS services and deployment practices is preferred.
  • Experience with LLM-powered tools and AI assistants is preferred.
  • Knowledge of containerization is preferred.
  • Experience with distributed systems is preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $149,200 to $214,500 USD.
  • Eligibility for bonus or incentive compensation.
