Description

  • Lead and develop a team of 4-5 Customer Trust professionals, setting goals, operating cadence, and career development plans.
  • Own the Customer Trust program strategy, roadmap, KPIs, and reporting to GRC leadership and executives.
  • Serve as the escalation point and subject matter expert for complex customer security, privacy, and compliance inquiries.
  • Own and drive customer and prospect security questionnaires and RFP responses with timely, accurate deliverables.
  • Act as the primary contact for customer security conversations, including calls and presentations to executive security stakeholders.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to support strategic deals and renewals that require security assurance.
  • Own and continuously improve the Trust Center, including configuration, content, and access management.
  • Maintain customer-facing security documentation such as pen-test reports, SOC 2 reports, ISO certifications, policies, and whitepapers.
  • Review Security Contract Exhibits, DPAs, and privacy addenda, and partner with Legal on security and privacy language.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Product Security, Compliance, and Engineering to align messaging and streamline processes.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in customer trust, security assurance, GRC, or a related discipline with progressive responsibility.
  • 3+ years of people management experience leading customer-facing security or compliance teams.
  • Experience owning customer security questionnaires, RFPs, and Trust Center operations at a SaaS or technology company.
  • Experience directly engaging with customers, including executive-level security stakeholders, on security, privacy, and compliance topics.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and certifications such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, FedRAMP, GDPR, and CCPA.
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating security contract terms, DPAs, and privacy exhibits.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Executive presence and credibility to represent the company’s security posture to enterprise customers.
  • Preferred experience at a cybersecurity company or high-growth B2B SaaS company.
  • Familiarity with Trust Center platforms such as SafeBase, Whistic, or Conveyor, and GRC tools such as Vanta, Drata, OneTrust, or ServiceNow GRC.
  • Professional certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CTPRP, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are a plus.
  • Experience supporting FedRAMP authorization or working with federal/public sector customers is preferred.
  • Background in security, compliance, or risk consulting is preferred.
  • Degree in information security, computer science, business, or a related field is preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $176,000 to $253,000 USD.
  • Eligibility for bonus or incentive compensation.
