Description

  • Recruit, hire, and maintain a world-class team of enterprise sellers to meet projected productive capacity and stay within budget.
  • Own the sales organization for a defined territory and drive the team to overachieve new annual recurring revenue (ARR) quota for the region.
  • Develop and execute an overall account strategy for the region, enabling collaborative team selling into enterprise accounts (>3k mailbox organizations).
  • Instill a disciplined, data-driven approach to pipeline generation and deal inspection leveraging field sales, marketing, channel partners, and sales development.
  • Partner closely with Sales Engineering to deliver compelling product demonstrations and a repeatable proof-of-concept/technology validation program.
  • Manage forecasting of monthly and quarterly revenue to executive leadership using disciplined forecast methodology and deal reviews.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to maximize renewals, rapid upsell expansion, and customer referrals.
  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with existing channel partners and cultivate new channel partnerships.
  • Facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews to measure sales productivity, plan execution, and progress against strategic objectives.
  • Identify, cultivate, and close new business at executive levels (CISO/CIO/CTO) in enterprise accounts throughout the territory.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience with a track record of exceeding sales quotas selling security, networking, and/or software solutions.
  • 3+ years leading a sales team focused on growing new business and acquiring new logos.
  • Proven hunter mentality with direct experience managing teams responsible for creating new demand, new customer acquisition, and sourcing new pipeline.
  • Successful experience closing complex enterprise sales involving multiple buying influences and stakeholders.
  • Experience managing and closing deals of $200K+ and transactions exceeding $1M.
  • Experience establishing and fostering relationships with partners and customers at executive levels (e.g., CISO/CIO/CTO).
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical features into business value.
  • Familiarity with consultative, value-based sales methodologies (e.g., Force Management, Challenger Sale, MEDDIC).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and accountable for consistent over-achievement.
  • Experience recruiting, developing, and coaching Account Executives and running a data-driven sales organization.
