Description

  • Deliver legal documents to individuals and other recipients in assigned areas.
  • Use the mobile app to claim jobs, map routes, and track pay.
  • Plan routes and time service attempts when people are likely to be home.
  • Work independently while managing a flexible workload and schedule.
  • Maintain accurate, honest, and timely service of process work.
  • Interact professionally and pleasantly with people encountered during delivery.
  • Scan and print documents as needed to complete service work.
  • Attempt service within required time windows, including every 48 hours where applicable.
  • Follow court rules, civil procedure, and state-specific service requirements.

Requirements

  • Must have reliable personal transportation, a valid driver’s license, and insurance.
  • Must have a smartphone or tablet, such as an iPhone, iPad, or Android device, and be able to use a mobile app.
  • Must be able to scan and print documents.
  • Must be available to work variable hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Experience in process serving or related work is helpful but not required.
  • Some states require registration as a Process Server.
  • Some states require meeting a minimum age to serve.
  • Must be legally allowed to work in the United States without work authorization.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain an organized approach is important.
  • A personable and professional demeanor is preferred.
