Description

  • Request, track, and follow up on medical records and billing from providers, hospitals, and insurance companies.
  • Coordinate with medical providers to verify billing details, outstanding balances, and required documentation.
  • Maintain and update case files so records and documentation remain accurate and current.
  • Review medical records and bills for completeness and flag missing or inconsistent information.
  • Assist with case intake, initial file setup, and documentation organization.
  • Communicate with clients about treatment status and outstanding documentation needs.
  • Monitor deadlines to ensure timely receipt of medical records and billing documents.
  • Organize and prepare case documentation for demand packages, litigation, and settlement processes.
  • Provide administrative and case-related support to attorneys, paralegals, and case managers.
  • Maintain logs, notes, and updates within case management systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law.
  • Experience with medical records retrieval, medical billing coordination, and working with healthcare providers and insurance companies.
  • Strong understanding of personal injury case workflows and processes.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet concurrent deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Strong critical thinking and sound judgment.
  • Self-sufficient, reliable, and accountable.
  • High ownership mentality and a professional, client-focused approach.
