Description

  • Lead overall program and contract management for cybersecurity architecture, engineering, operations, modernization, and support activities.
  • Serve as the primary interface with VA stakeholders, contracting officials, and Government leadership.
  • Translate Government requirements and priorities into work plans, schedules, assignments, and technical direction.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams across cybersecurity, cloud security, architecture, engineering, compliance, DevSecOps, AI, and related functions.
  • Develop and maintain the Contractor Project Management Plan, work breakdown structure, staffing plan, schedules, baselines, and project documentation.
  • Monitor program performance, milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, resources, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare progress reports, leadership briefings, program metrics, status updates, and executive decision-support materials.
  • Coordinate recurring status meetings, track decisions and action items, and maintain transparent stakeholder communications.
  • Oversee staffing, onboarding, training, certifications, background requirements, Government Furnished Equipment, and access management.
  • Coordinate Federal Assessment and Authorization and ATO activities, configuration management, documentation, and technical dependencies.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of information security experience, including at least 5 years in cybersecurity and cloud security at a large Government agency comparable to GSA, IRS, DoD, or VA.
  • Expertise in project management, security architecture, and security engineering, including translating customer requirements for technical teams.
  • Expertise managing IT and cloud design, security, development, systems engineering, and implementation efforts.
  • Expertise developing or managing security solutions in Federal or commercial environments.
  • Expertise with Federal Assessment and Authorization and Authority to Operate activities.
  • Expertise with cybersecurity architecture and engineering requirements and authorizations, including FedRAMP and RMF.
  • Knowledge of Federal policies, processes, and standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, information assurance, or a related field preferred.
  • Preferred certifications include PMP, CASP+/SecurityX, CCISO, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, GCED, GCIH, GSLC, or CCNP Security.
  • Ability to meet security investigation and potential classified-information access eligibility requirements; occasional onsite work may be required.
