Description

  • Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing IT Operations team including Cloud Engineers, SaaS Administrators, and SMEs.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for IT Operations, providing technical guidance and resolving complex IT business issues.
  • Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices for the global IT department.
  • Oversee administration, maintenance, optimization, availability, security, and cost-efficiency of internal cloud platform environments.
  • Advise teams on cloud usage and drive automation for provisioning and management of cloud resources.
  • Implement and oversee IAM policies, network security (VPCs, VPNs, firewalls), monitoring via Cloud Operations suite, and centralized logging.
  • Lead administration, integration, and optimization of the corporate SaaS portfolio (e.g., Google Workspace, Salesforce, Rippling, Atlassian, Slack, Office 365, Asana, Ramp, ChurnZero, etc.).
  • Design and enforce Identity & Access Management strategy using Rippling IT, including automated user provisioning/de-provisioning (SCIM, JIT) and Principle of Least Privilege.
  • Own the integration strategy and automation between business systems using iPaaS (Workato), Google Apps Script, and custom scripts; partner with HR, Sales, Marketing on platform implementations and shared ownership models.
  • Partner with Security Operations on MDM, compliance audit evidence, GRC (Drata) and Trust Center (SafeBase) buildouts, and manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in IT Operations or Systems Engineering, including at least 4 years in direct management/mentoring of technical teams.
  • Strong leadership and English communication skills with proven ability to manage remote/offshore resources across time zones and cultural contexts.
  • Extensive experience managing a large enterprise SaaS portfolio and implementing enterprise-wide IAM strategies with a central IdP (e.g., Rippling or Okta).
  • Proven ability to set high-level technical strategy while remaining hands-on and executing alongside the team.
  • Technical proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform, to automate cloud infrastructure management.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise integrations via scripting (Python, Bash, Google Apps Script) or an iPaaS platform (Workato preferred).
  • Deep expertise in Mobile Device Management (MDM) at scale, BYOD environments, and Chrome browser management.
  • Extensive hands-on experience across the Google stack, including GCP infrastructure at scale and advanced Google Workspace administration.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL v4 frameworks—particularly Change Management and Incident Response—and experience with CLI tools such as gcloud, GAM, Git, Docker, and Homebrew.
  • Preferred: industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+, ITIL 4, CCNA, RHCSA, CCNP, PMP, CISM); experience in consulting/professional services; familiarity with Zero Trust, SOC2/ISO/HIPAA audits (Drata), lifecycle 'Zero-Touch' provisioning, Agile/Kanban for IT Ops, and managing IT aspects of M&A (domain/SaaS migrations).
