Description

  • Independently guide the technical direction and implementation of the team within the defined architecture from conceptualization through deployment.
  • Evaluate trade-offs among correctness, robustness, performance, and customer impact to deliver the right solution.
  • Create and lead technical documentation and repository management practices, including branches, pull requests, and merges.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams on architecture oversight, dependencies, product strategy, and direction.
  • Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and complex bug fixes with attention to security, performance, and reliability.
  • Mentor Senior Engineers and other team members through Communities of Practice and project teams.
  • Support the growth of technical capabilities within the Engineering Practice community.
  • Verify and validate architecture implementations and influence architecture beyond the immediate team.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver well-tested, scalable, secure, and performant enterprise systems.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of web development experience.
  • Proficiency in Python and Python frameworks.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, AWS, and Docker.
  • Working knowledge of frontend development, including JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • Familiarity with OAuth2 and OpenID Connect protocols.
  • High level of English proficiency to work with a globally distributed team.
  • Experience leading teams using Agile software development methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience adapting high-level architecture to project and client needs.
  • Ability to verify and validate architecture implementations and influence overall architecture beyond the team.
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, architectural styles and design patterns, SOLID principles, OWASP, and high-level design approaches such as UML, C4, or ArchiMate.
  • Preferred experience in Python and other object-oriented languages.
  • Demonstrated initiative in mentoring engineers and decision-makers throughout the organization.
