Description

  • Develop data and cloud migration frameworks for moving on-premises assets to Snowflake and Azure.
  • Assist with migrating on-premises software assets to cloud platforms.
  • Maintain and improve software solutions and infrastructure.
  • Develop new solutions and enhance existing applications.
  • Establish software and data engineering best practices for cloud deployment and asset management.
  • Gather requirements, validate understanding, and maintain project documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to address user needs and improve solutions.
  • Own projects from technical design through successful launch.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, testing, estimation, status reporting, and work planning.
  • Research emerging technologies and recommend appropriate adoption opportunities.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with Python, REST APIs, and SQL.
  • Experience with Git-based source control tools such as GitHub or GitLab.
  • Experience with unit testing, particularly Pytest.
  • Intermediate design proficiency using UML, C4, or ArchiMate.
  • Experience engineering medium-to-large software systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and the SDLC.
  • Proficiency with relational databases and scalable frontend/backend applications.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Knowledge of Python web frameworks, workflow orchestration platforms, package management tools, HTTP, JSON, XML, SCA platforms, AI coding agents, and object-oriented programming is preferred.
