Description

  • Actively contribute to agile project teams during scrums, sprint planning, story refinement, and code reviews.
  • Develop, maintain, and integrate software systems and applications.
  • Write client code that is efficient, performant, testable, scalable, secure, and high quality.
  • Apply object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns in day-to-day development work.
  • Write automated unit tests and maintain test suites to prevent regressions across system features.
  • Design complex data models and REST APIs for senior-level solutions.
  • Evaluate solution options and recommend creative technical approaches to peers, architects, and project managers.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user pain points and iterate on solutions that drive client success.
  • Participate in planning and estimation efforts using project methods and tools.
  • Mentor other engineers and support technical capability growth through communities of practice or project teams.
  • Independently drive project delivery from conceptualization to deployment within defined architecture.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software development experience.
  • Senior-level experience with C#.NET and ASP.NET Core.
  • Experience with .NET MVC and .NET 10.
  • Experience with front-end technologies including AngularJS, Angular 17, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with SQL and MS SQL Server 2019.
  • Experience working in Agile software development methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, including abstraction and encapsulation.
  • Good understanding of SOLID principles.
  • Familiarity with OWASP.
  • Experience building well-tested, scalable, and performant enterprise-level systems.
  • Client-facing experience and strong communication skills.
  • Experience mentoring other engineers and decision-makers across an organization.
  • Nice to have: experience with IBM MQ or similar message queuing systems.
  • Nice to have: experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Aspire.
  • Nice to have: experience with object-relational mappers (ORMs).
  • Nice to have: experience with SQL Server Reporting Services.
  • Nice to have: experience with architectural patterns such as microservices and serverless.
  • Nice to have: experience with design patterns such as Factory, Singleton, and Observer.
  • Nice to have: experience with cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS.
