Description

  • Design, build, and deploy intelligent backend services using Python and Azure AI Foundry.
  • Architect and deliver LLM-based and agentic systems in production, including retrieval, tool integration, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
  • Engineer and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines over SOPs to generate contextual insights.
  • Integrate AI outputs into end-user workflows and case handling processes.
  • Implement redact-before-model workflows to strip PII before data reaches foundation models.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to define AI features and technical solutions.
  • Identify automation and product improvement opportunities and build prototypes to validate value.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote secure, responsible AI engineering practices.
  • Troubleshoot AI-specific issues such as prompt injection, model latency, and data leakage.
  • Evaluate new LLM tools, agentic frameworks, and open-source developments for client use cases.
  • Design evaluation frameworks and responsible-AI guardrails for LLM and agentic systems.
  • Drive adoption of AI engineering tools, standards, and governance practices across the team.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years building AI-driven applications with LLMs.
  • Hands-on experience architecting and deploying LLM-based or agentic systems in production.
  • Experience with prompt design, retrieval architecture, and tool/function calling such as MCP.
  • Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Google Gemini, and Anthropic Claude APIs.
  • Experience evaluating open-source and proprietary LLMs based on accuracy, latency, scalability, cost, and performance.
  • Knowledge of vector stores and embeddings, including tools such as LangChain and LlamaIndex.
  • Deep expertise in Python for backend services and AI integration.
  • Hands-on experience using Azure AI Foundry to build, deploy, and manage AI models and agents.
  • Proven experience building complex API integrations for data ingestion, extraction, and classification.
  • Strong understanding of security engineering, including PII redaction, anonymization pipelines, and secure data handling.
  • Experience delivering well-tested, scalable, secure, and performant enterprise systems.
  • Strong track record working in Agile software development environments.
  • Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot.
  • High level of English proficiency for collaboration with a globally distributed team and client stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Scikit-Learn.
  • Preferred familiarity with Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly.
  • Preferred experience building cloud-native applications with infrastructure-as-code and observability practices.
  • Preferred experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD for ML, such as GitHub Actions and MLflow.
  • Preferred familiarity with AI regulations and safety frameworks such as the EU AI Act and NIST AI RMF.
