Description

  • Communicate project status and recommendations to client stakeholders.
  • Build client code that is performant, testable, scalable, secure, and high quality.
  • Participate in project planning and estimation using defined methods and tools.
  • Gather requirements and present developed features to clients.
  • Execute complex work within current methodology and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user pain points and improve solutions.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Mentor other engineers through communities of practice and project teams.
  • Drive project delivery independently from conceptualization through deployment.
  • Provide technical ownership for delivered solutions and help remove delivery roadblocks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Java 11, EclipseLink, JSF2, Bootstrap, CSS3, Oracle DB, AWS, Ansible, and Jenkins.
  • Strong experience with Java 8 or Java 11.
  • Willingness to work on UI tasks using JSF.
  • Experience with JPA implementations such as Hibernate or EclipseLink, relational databases, web frameworks, and Maven or Gradle.
  • Unit testing experience.
  • Experience in requirement analysis, coding, design, implementation, testing, problem analysis, resolution, and technical documentation.
  • Cross-team involvement with multiple internal teams and client teams.
  • Involvement in architectural activities at the account level.
  • Experience contributing to initiatives that create value beyond day-to-day work.
  • Experience partnering with project management to improve processes, ensure delivery success, and raise project risks.
  • Additional experience with Bootstrap, jQuery, CSS3, Ansible or Chef, JBoss/Wildfly, JSF2 or PrimeFaces, Oracle DB, AWS, and CloudFormation is desired.
