Description

  • Define 3Pillar’s AI architecture vision, engineering standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Own high-level design decisions and technical resolution for sophisticated cloud-based solutions.
  • Architect and oversee delivery of enterprise-grade AI systems, including LLM features, RAG pipelines, agentic frameworks, and model inference infrastructure.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define functional and nonfunctional requirements, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • Advise senior and executive stakeholders on AI strategy, technology investment, risk posture, and competitive positioning.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies, foundation models, frameworks, and regulatory changes, and brief leadership on implications.
  • Lead organizational AI risk management, including vendor lock-in, data privacy, model drift, adversarial inputs, and compliance considerations.
  • Drive creation of reusable AI architectural frameworks, reference architectures, accelerators, and internal tooling.
  • Lead and contribute to the AI Centre of Excellence, Communities of Practice, documentation, code reviews, and architectural artifacts.
  • Mentor engineers and architects, represent 3Pillar externally, and contribute thought leadership through conferences, publications, open source, or standards bodies.
  • Design architectures that align with DevOps culture and QA automation practices, including AI-powered code review, test generation, and security scanning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Software Architect with proficiency in the specified technologies.
  • High level of English proficiency to work with a globally distributed team.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain architecture clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Deep expertise across the AI architecture spectrum, including LLM integration, agentic systems, RAG at scale, MLOps, AI security, and AI governance.
  • Proven experience defining and executing AI strategy at an organizational or program level with measurable business impact.
  • Experience advising executive stakeholders on AI investment strategy, risk management, and competitive differentiation.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC processes, actionable metrics, and KPIs.
  • Experience leading Agile software development methodologies and working on multiple parallel projects.
  • High-level design proficiency using UML, C4, and ArchiMate.
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices and tools.
  • Preferred: strong command of global AI regulation and policy, including EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, GDPR, and HIPAA implications.
  • Preferred: recognized internally or externally as an AI technical authority through published work, conference participation, or organizational influence.
  • Additional desired experience includes cloud-native distributed systems, ETL/data modeling, SaaS applications, financial management and ROI calculation, and crisis management.
  • Preferred certifications include Solutions Architect on major cloud platforms, with emphasis on Azure, TOGAF, and AI/ML certifications such as Azure AI Engineer.
  • Preferred: original AI contributions such as open-source frameworks, research, whitepapers, or novel architectural patterns.
