Description

  • Define 3Pillar’s AI architecture vision, engineering standards, patterns, and governance frameworks.
  • Own high-level design decisions and technical resolution for tailored solutions on cloud platforms.
  • Architect and oversee delivery of enterprise-grade AI systems, including LLM features, RAG pipelines, agentic frameworks, and model inference infrastructure.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define functional and nonfunctional requirements and business goals.
  • Advise senior and executive stakeholders on AI strategy, technology investment, risk posture, and competitive positioning.
  • Assess emerging technologies, model developments, and regulatory changes, and brief leadership on implications.
  • Lead AI risk management, including vendor lock-in, data privacy, model drift, adversarial inputs, and compliance.
  • Drive creation of reusable AI frameworks, reference architectures, accelerators, and internal tooling.
  • Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and architectural artifacts.
  • Establish and lead the AI Centre of Excellence and mentor engineers through communities of practice.
  • Represent 3Pillar externally through conferences, publications, open source, or standards contributions.
  • Integrate AI-powered capabilities into DevOps and QA practices, including automated code review, test generation, and security scanning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Software Architect with proficiency in the specified technologies.
  • High level of English proficiency for working with a globally distributed team.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain architecture to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Natural leadership, critical reasoning, and strong decision-making skills.
  • Deep knowledge of SDLC processes and familiarity with actionable metrics and KPIs.
  • Experience leading Agile software development methodologies.
  • High-level design proficiency using UML, C4, or ArchiMate.
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices and tools.
  • Deep expertise across the AI architecture spectrum, including LLM integration, agentic systems, RAG at scale, MLOps, AI security, and AI governance.
  • Proven track record of defining and executing AI strategy at an organisational or programme level with measurable business impact.
  • Experience advising executive stakeholders on AI investment strategy, risk management, and competitive differentiation.
  • Strong command of global AI regulation and policy, including EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, GDPR, and HIPAA implications.
  • Recognized as an AI technical authority through published work, conference participation, or organizational influence.
  • Foundational knowledge in data analysis, modelling, architecture, ETL dataflows, and scalable distributed cloud-native data stores.
  • Experience designing applications across more than one technology platform, such as web, desktop, or mobile.
  • Experience designing SaaS or highly scalable distributed cloud applications.
  • Financial management experience and ROI calculation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple parallel projects with strong time management and multitasking skills.
  • Solutions Architect certification on a major cloud platform, preferably Azure.
  • TOGAF certification.
  • AI/ML certifications such as AWS ML Specialty, Google Professional ML Engineer, or Azure AI Engineer, or equivalent demonstrable expertise.
