Description

  • Plan and run UX work across discovery and delivery, aligned to engagement goals, timelines, and team cadence.
  • Translate ambiguous problems into clear UX workstreams, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Surface experience risks and tradeoffs early, including usability, accessibility, and feasibility constraints.
  • Conduct user interviews, contextual inquiry, observation, and workflow studies to uncover user needs and constraints.
  • Create personas, journey maps, workflows, and insight summaries that inform product direction and delivery decisions.
  • Define information architecture, navigation structures, and task flows that guide experience direction.
  • Produce UI concepts and prototypes, and document designs with annotations and specifications for engineering.
  • Validate concepts through usability testing and refine requirements and designs based on findings.
  • Mentor junior designers and share UX methods and best practices with cross-functional teammates.
  • Contribute to UX playbooks, design standards, and reusable frameworks that improve consistency across engagements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in UX design or product design.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating research, interaction design, and problem solving.
  • Familiarity with agile or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Strong knowledge of UX methods, usability best practices, and human-centered design.
  • Strong visual and interaction design capability with attention to detail.
  • Clear communication and effective design storytelling skills.
  • Highly collaborative and comfortable working with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Proficiency with Figma.
  • Experience with research tools such as Dovetail or UserTesting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Jira or Azure DevOps for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Work authorization that does not require sponsorship, as the company cannot sponsor work visas.
