Description

  • Design Azure-based technical solutions with attention to functionality and performance.
  • Lead project teams and direct the technology process while managing client relationships and expectations.
  • Implement end-to-end data platform solutions for clients.
  • Manage scope, cost, and timeline expectations for client engagements.
  • Support pre-sales activities alongside solution architects and sales directors to generate additional business.
  • Produce high-quality project documentation and written case studies.
  • Mentor junior team members and serve as an effective technical guide.
  • Deliver complex projects on time and within budget while identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Advocate for 3Cloud’s data methodology and best practices.
  • Collaborate across the organization to solve problems and support internal data services initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience architecting data solutions on Azure.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure with experience in Databricks and/or Fabric.
  • Experience designing and implementing modern data architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, lakehouses, data mesh, and streaming pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and data engineering frameworks.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, including stories, tasks, pipelines, and ARM templates.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code, APIs, security, compliance, and master data management.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive AI strategy and adoption with responsible AI principles.
  • Experience optimizing data pipelines, queries, and architectures for performance and cost.
  • Experience presenting to senior-level clients, including C-suite executives.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments with strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Cannot sponsor applicants for work visas.
