Description

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support high-performing, reliable, and scalable machine learning solutions.
  • Communicate technical details clearly to both technical and management stakeholders.
  • Coach and manage team members to improve team talent and quality.
  • Manage prioritization to ensure the team focuses on top priorities and maximizes value.
  • Conduct customer discovery meetings to determine requirements.
  • Lead creation of collateral such as reference implementations, best practices, and training materials for sellers and partners.
  • Identify, validate, and grow opportunities to accelerate Azure consumption in customer accounts.
  • Partner with the sales team to support solution architecture and technical sales efforts.
  • Assist the business development team with pre-sales activities and RFPs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree desired in Operations Research, Information Technology, Applied Math, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data science or machine learning work.
  • 5+ years of experience with Azure technologies and prior consulting experience.
  • Knowledge of Databricks development.
  • Application-engineer-level proficiency in at least two of the following: Python, Spark, and Scala.
  • Ability to develop with Apache Spark, Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse, Azure Storage technologies, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure Databricks.
  • Expertise in Spark DataFrames API and data manipulation tasks including exploring, preprocessing, joining, filtering, dropping, sorting, partitioning, and renaming columns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience leading technical project teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and a passion for learning new technologies.
