Description

  • Lead small to medium-sized technical teams, including work allocation, technical escalation, and team support.
  • Represent the team in Agile ceremonies and client meetings.
  • Design and implement logical and physical data models for cloud and hybrid data warehouse environments.
  • Build data architectures that support structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
  • Deliver multiple full life-cycle data warehouse implementations.
  • Develop data architectures that support data integration processing.
  • Provision and configure Azure data service resources.
  • Create data profiling outputs and source-to-target mappings.
  • Take requirements and build data pipelines in a cloud architecture environment.
  • Collaborate with project, client, and company leadership while mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

  • Experience leading small to medium-sized technical teams.
  • Experience with logical and physical data modeling for cloud and hybrid data warehouse environments.
  • Experience implementing data architectures for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
  • Experience with multiple full life-cycle data warehouse implementations.
  • Understanding of data architectures required to support data integration processing.
  • Experience with data modeling tools such as ER/Studio, ER/Win, or similar.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Platform services, including Azure Data Lake Store, Azure Storage, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Logic Apps, and APIs.
  • Python and SQL scripting experience.
  • Experience with SQL and PySpark.
  • General cloud architecture competency and ability to build data pipelines from requirements.
  • API knowledge is required, with preference for candidates who can create APIs.
  • Ability to quickly learn, adopt, and apply new technologies.
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft Fabric.
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft Azure Cosmos DB, Data Flows, ExpressRoute, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Preferred experience creating migration strategies from on-premise environments to Azure.
  • Preferred experience with Power BI and semantic modeling.
  • Preferred experience with AWS Glue, AWS S3, AWS Athena, AWS Redshift, AWS ECS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Blob, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse.
  • Cannot sponsor applicants for work visas.
