Description

  • Collaborate with GDC Consulting Operations to identify and assign project resources to client engagements.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage assigned projects when needed.
  • Oversee multiple concurrent client projects, including risk identification, escalation handling, and issue resolution.
  • Resolve escalations between projects, clients, and internal organizations.
  • Oversee resource planning and coordinate project activities across client, internal, and external teams.
  • Mentor staff in Agile methodologies and project management best practices.
  • Communicate responsibilities, accountabilities, growth plans, training, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Ensure consultant bench time is used to improve skills aligned with technology roadmaps.
  • Monitor program scope alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Gather feedback from Delivery Owners on engagements involving GDC team members.
  • Conduct interviews for prospective GDC candidates.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in client relationship management and setting client expectations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Experience aligning diverse teams across multiple locations to deliver projects to commitment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with GDC leadership and internal stakeholders.
  • Professional knowledge of internal stakeholder management, people management, and software project delivery.
  • Ability to develop sound work plans and resolve competing trade-offs.
  • Ability to manage up to 20 people and guide career development.
  • Ability to remain composed during challenging and critical situations.
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile best practices and delivery methodologies.
  • Experience working with sales and solutioning stakeholders on staffing and timeline commitments is a plus.
  • Relevant background required for Java Development Consulting Manager, Software Engineering Consulting Manager, or Data and Analytics Consulting Manager roles.
  • Must be able to work full-time in the Philippines.
  • Applicants must not require work visa sponsorship.
