Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable technical solutions across integrations, automations, reporting, web applications, plugins, and internal tools.
  • Build and enhance solutions using Workato and other platform components, including BigCommerce integration improvements.
  • Transform customer specifications and business requirements into robust software solutions.
  • Perform testing and provide proof of results to ensure solution quality and reliability.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and help maintain high code quality standards.
  • Write setup guides and deployment methodologies to support Implementation Specialists and clients.
  • Join daily stand-ups and provide workload estimates to help manage client expectations.
  • Take rotating support shifts to maintain and enhance live solutions.
  • Test solutions developed by other team members and contribute to solution scalability through documentation and enablement.
  • Proactively propose new solutions and contribute to process improvements over time.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering, backend development, or integrations.
  • Experience with at least one backend language, preferably Node.js, Ruby, or Python.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, authentication methods, and asynchronous workflows.
  • Ability to design scalable, efficient, and maintainable technical solutions.
  • Experience working with SQL databases or data warehouses; Snowflake experience is a plus.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms is appreciated.
  • Interest in full-stack development, Git workflows, and CI/CD practices.
  • Strong analytical skills, structured thinking, and the ability to synthesize information.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging mindset.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.
  • Fluent English is required; French speaking is a plus.
  • Knowledge of BigCommerce is a plus.
