Description

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for the Developer Experience squad and route technical topics as needed.
  • Coach and support squad engineers through performance reviews and career path assessments.
  • Continue contributing code while spending roughly 20% of time on management responsibilities.
  • Own improvements to the codebase, build process, CI pipeline, functional test environment, and developer tooling.
  • Identify and address challenges product squad developers are facing, including onboarding and day-to-day friction.
  • Work with engineering leadership to maintain team engagement and squad effectiveness.
  • Share best practices across the team and create training content on the 360Learning platform.
  • Build tools and processes that help developers solve issues independently.
  • Modernize testing libraries and improve test containers using Docker and Kubernetes in alignment with DevOps.
  • Introduce tools and processes to support AI-assisted coding and improve squad workflows.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a tech lead, mentor, or coach for software engineers on a SaaS platform.
  • Experience leading technical initiatives in an environment where performance, reliability, and accuracy are critical.
  • Significant full-stack programming experience.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in at least one programming language, such as TypeScript/Node.js.
  • Experience with automation and infrastructure tools.
  • Experience working on a Developer Experience or Platform team is a plus.
  • Enthusiasm for AI coding tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Fluent English (US/UK) or B2 level French, or equivalent.
  • Ability to take on both technical ownership and people leadership responsibilities.
