Description

  • Use Blueprint scripting to create gameplay content.
  • Design and block out world geometry.
  • Collaborate with world architects and other teams to implement the project’s creative vision.
  • Take ownership of difficult cross-disciplinary sequences or content from conception through completion.
  • Work with multi-disciplinary strike teams to improve areas such as combat, AI, progression, exploration, and narrative.
  • Mentor junior designers and help them grow their skills.
  • Design and implement scripted and systemic content throughout the game world.
  • Collaborate across design, art, engineering, animation, and audio to realize creative goals.
  • Identify solutions to developmental obstacles and help deliver a world-class AAA experience.

Requirements

  • Shipped at least one AAA title as a designer.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in video game design.
  • Previous experience with Unreal is a plus.
  • Able to collaborate effectively across time zones in a global, multi-site organization.
  • Able to work independently, in small pods, and in larger collaborative teams.
  • Able to document work succinctly and effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage opposing priorities.
  • Professional proficiency in both French and English is required for candidates located in Quebec.
  • Experience providing constructive feedback and receiving direction is strongly valued.
