Description

  • Identify and evaluate new offerings and business opportunities at the intersection of 10x-generated data and AI/analysis tools.
  • Translate opportunities into investable proposals that leverage 10x’s business, channels, capabilities, and roadmap.
  • Define external capabilities needed to execute, including potential partnerships or M&A.
  • Develop cross-functional execution plans and identify new capabilities required to deliver selected proposals.
  • Champion the vision and investment case with senior leadership and the Board to secure alignment and support.
  • Lead execution of newly approved opportunities and businesses.

Requirements

  • Experience with ideation, evaluation, go-to-market, and scaling of a business that sells datasets or insights, including prior 0->1 experience.
  • Deep familiarity with data and insight needs in at least one of pharma R&D or diagnostics development.
  • High bias to action, iteration, and rapid testing of ideas.
  • Strong product leadership skills and understanding of the tools and architectures needed for data and insight products.
  • Fluency in modern AI and agentic tools, capabilities, and trends.
  • Nuanced understanding of biological data types and measurement tools, ideally including single-cell and/or spatial genomics tools.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks affecting biomedical data products.
  • Experience building teams for new functions and coordinating with existing internal talent.
  • Experience evaluating partnership and M&A opportunities, with significant involvement in execution and integration of inorganic assets and capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively across functions and seniority levels.
  • Excellent communication skills for multiple audiences.
  • Connections with leaders in AI/ML, life sciences, pharma, or clinical sectors that could accelerate opportunity identification and implementation.

  • Base salary range of $318,300 to $430,700 USD.
