Description

  • Serve as the main point of contact between customers and 10x Genomics.
  • Deliver customer site trainings, demonstrations, and system usage instruction.
  • Keep customers informed and trained on new 10x technology and software advancements.
  • Document, communicate, and escalate customer issues, complaints, and concerns to management and internal teams.
  • Partner scientifically with customers as they develop research using 10x technologies.
  • Collaborate in scientific discussions and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Gather customer feedback and communicate use cases to Marketing and Product Development teams.
  • Troubleshoot issues involving technical skills, sample preparation, processing, assay design, experimental design, software, and instruments.
  • Support the field sales team at trade shows, seminars, and technical symposiums.
  • Contribute to support documentation and knowledge resources.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, genomics, or genetics.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience with NGS workflows and data analysis software.
  • Hands-on proficiency with common molecular biology bench techniques.
  • Hands-on proficiency with histology techniques, including tissue processing, sectioning, and embedding.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and systematic troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding presentation and training skills.
  • Ability to maintain records for customer sites and provide high-level feedback to management.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60%.
  • Ph.D. or 6-8 years of experience preferred in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or Genetics.
  • Experience with spatial gene expression or protein assays is highly desirable.
  • Previous customer-facing experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SFDC software is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team toward corporate goals.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $92,400 to $125,000 USD.
  • Eligible for equity grants.
