Description

  • Process vendor invoices and reimbursement requests, including matching invoices to purchase orders and verifying approvals and supporting documentation.
  • Code payables with general ledger, project, and program codes and enter invoices into the Oracle Fusion Accounts Payable module.
  • Verify timely payment processing for approved invoices and ensure invoice documentation matches issued checks.
  • Maintain and update vendor files, including W-9 information and payee categories, in organized alphabetical order.
  • Review and reconcile vendor monthly statements.
  • Audit expense reports for compliance with corporate policies using Concur.
  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close, review, and audit processes.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting team to improve processes and policies that support scalability.
  • Provide customer service and communicate effectively with staff, vendors, clients, and contacts at all levels of the organization.
  • Cross-train and perform additional Finance Department functions as directed by management.

Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in general accounts payable and monthly close work in private or public industry.
  • Associate degree or higher.
  • General knowledge of accounting practices, including invoice processing, journal entries, account reconciliation, and analysis.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to take full ownership of assignments and responsibilities.
  • Experience in the life sciences industry is a plus.
  • Public company experience is a plus.
  • Extensive experience with ERP systems is preferred; knowledge of Oracle Fusion is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Concur is a plus.
