Description

  • Develop high-performance Mac and iOS applications and frameworks that connect to the cloud security platform.
  • Partner with product managers to translate requirements and design mockups into clean, high-quality code.
  • Own application performance, quality, and responsiveness to deliver a seamless user experience.
  • Maintain and improve engineering excellence through code quality, standards, and automation practices.
  • Serve as a technical escalation point to troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues.
  • Contribute to cross-platform client application development for the Mac and iOS ecosystem.
  • Collaborate across teams to turn product needs into scalable technical solutions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional software development experience specializing in Objective-C, Swift, or C++.
  • Deep technical understanding of the Mac networking stack, networking protocols, and modern architectural design patterns.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, offline storage, multi-threading, and performance tuning.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Mac/iOS ecosystem and standard libraries used for common engineering tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate product requirements into high-quality, scalable technical solutions.
  • Experience developing network stack components for VPN or ZTNA client applications (preferred).
  • Familiarity with PKI, network security technologies, cloud message APIs, or Apple Push Notifications (preferred).
  • Track record of building multi-platform client applications and handling their unique challenges (preferred).
  • Ability to work in San Jose, CA on a hybrid basis or remotely in the US.

  • Base salary range of $154,000 to $220,000 USD.
