Description

  • Own the end-to-end pre-sales motion and ensure the Sales Engineering team delivers high-quality, value-based customer engagements that accelerate pipeline and close outcomes.
  • Define and drive the regional technical-win strategy in partnership with Sales leadership.
  • Lead and develop a team of Sales Engineers through coaching, 1:1s, feedback, mentoring, and career progression planning.
  • Partner with customers across markets on network, security, and application access transformation with Zscaler.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional partners to deliver customer outcomes and inform product direction through structured field feedback.
  • Standardize repeatable pre-sales plays and solution frameworks.
  • Communicate complex value clearly to VP- and C-level stakeholders to support deal acceleration and adoption.
  • Build an engaged, high-performing SE team through hiring, onboarding, enablement, and performance management.
  • Provide pipeline support, deal strategy, and forecasting partnership with Sales.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of enterprise pre-sales or solutions engineering experience in security, networking, cloud, or SaaS across complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and developing Sales Engineers, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and career growth.
  • Proven ability to run a regional pre-sales motion, including pipeline support, deal strategy, and forecasting partnership with Sales.
  • Strong executive customer leadership experience, including workshops, outcome-based storytelling, and communication with senior stakeholders.
  • Deep security and networking foundation, including Zero Trust, identity, secure connectivity, and cloud security.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and willingness to travel.
  • Preferred: Experience leading enterprise security or cloud pre-sales teams in a high-growth SaaS environment.
  • Preferred: Experience scaling an SE organization with repeatable plays, enablement, and career frameworks.
  • Preferred: Deep domain expertise in cyber security with strong customer architecture and transformation credibility.
