Description

Manage a portfolio of civil and consumer litigation matters in partnership with external counsel, including cases before PROCON and consumidor.gov.
Draft, review, and negotiate lower-complexity commercial contracts from start to finish.
Support internal teams such as Product, Operations, and People with recurring legal questions and guidance.
Help structure legal controls, track metrics, identify gaps, and improve workflows and processes.
Use AI and automation to reduce manual work and make legal operations more scalable.
Expand support to additional legal areas such as labor, compliance, privacy, and automation projects as you gain autonomy.
Collaborate closely with the legal team to build processes, operations, and ways of working from an early-stage structure.

Requirements

Active OAB license, or being in the final stage of obtaining it (for example, exam approved and waiting for the registration number).
Background in civil litigation, including drafting supporting materials or pleadings, monitoring deadlines, and organizing case documentation.
Experience reviewing contracts such as service agreements, NDAs, amendments, or supplier agreements.
Operational autonomy and the ability to proactively identify and raise issues without step-by-step instruction.
Strong execution mindset and interest in a largely hands-on role.
Curiosity and initiative to use AI and automation to improve legal workflows.
Familiarity with legal tools such as Elaw, DocuSign/ZapSign, and Notion, or the ability to adapt quickly to them.
Exposure to labor/People matters such as CLT/PJ contracts, terminations, and internal policies (preferred).
Familiarity with compliance, KYC/AML, or LGPD (preferred).
Previous experience in a regulated company such as a fintech, credit, or payments business (preferred).
Experience supporting internal business areas such as Product, Operations, Commercial, or People (preferred).
Knowledge of Bacen, CVM, or FIDC regulation (preferred).
