Description

  • Develop and evolve the React Native mobile application across iOS and Android.
  • Build reusable, high-performance UI components with NativeWind while maintaining accessibility and design consistency.
  • Integrate and manage content delivery through Sanity CMS, including schema design, GROQ queries, and preview workflows.
  • Contribute to feature flagging and experimentation infrastructure using LaunchDarkly.
  • Use Expo and EAS to streamline development workflows, manage native dependencies, and support CI/CD pipelines.
  • Maintain automated testing with Jest, React Native Testing Library, and Detox or similar UI automation frameworks.
  • Implement monitoring and observability using tools such as Datadog or Sentry.
  • Own mobile initiatives from technical design through launch, monitoring, and iteration.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to maintain quality and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and Data teams, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 4+ years in cross-platform mobile development.
  • Expert-level experience with React Native and cross-platform mobile architecture.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and experience building scalable typed codebases.
  • Experience building reusable component libraries with NativeWind or Tailwind-style frameworks.
  • Experience integrating headless CMS platforms, with Sanity CMS preferred.
  • Experience implementing feature flags or experimentation platforms such as LaunchDarkly.
  • Strong experience with Expo, including managed or bare workflows and the broader Expo ecosystem.
  • Experience building mobile CI/CD pipelines with EAS, Fastlane, or similar tools, including automated builds and app store submissions.
  • Strong experience with automated testing using Jest and React Native Testing Library, plus end-to-end UI testing with Detox, Maestro, Appium, or similar.
  • Experience with mobile observability tools such as Datadog or Sentry.
  • Working knowledge of Swift and/or Kotlin for native module integration and debugging.
  • Experience delivering large, complex mobile projects with measurable impact.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Must be located in Latam.
  • Preferred: deep native mobile development experience in Swift or Kotlin.
  • Preferred: experience with React Native New Architecture, including Fabric, TurboModules, and JSI.
  • Preferred: experience with Expo Router or file-based routing systems.
  • Preferred: experience implementing over-the-air updates using Expo Updates or CodePush.
  • Preferred: familiarity with additional observability tools such as Firebase Crashlytics.
  • Preferred: contributions to open-source React Native libraries or technical content.
  • Preferred: experience in high-growth technology companies with strong mobile engineering cultures.
