Description

  • Design, build, and maintain customer-facing features across the full stack from React UI through ASP.NET APIs to MS SQL persistence.
  • Collaborate with product stakeholders and engineers to define, implement, and release features.
  • Review and validate AI-generated code within an AI-augmented development workflow while maintaining accountability for quality and correctness.
  • Follow Git best practices, including feature branches, pull requests, clear commit hygiene, and documentation updates when behavior or architecture changes.
  • Build and maintain React components and user workflows for clinical or operational scheduling-related experiences.
  • Implement maintainable TypeScript with attention to UI correctness, edge cases, authentication, error handling, loading states, and performance.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs in ASP.NET to support frontend workflows and integrations.
  • Design and evolve MS SQL schemas with an emphasis on clarity, performance, and data integrity.
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization patterns appropriate for a regulated healthcare environment.
  • Build platform capabilities and integrations using Azure services such as hosting, identity, messaging, storage, and monitoring.
  • Use Postman to explore, validate, and troubleshoot APIs across environments.
  • Contribute to testing, QA collaboration, defect triage, regression awareness, and release readiness in an Agile process.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with a modern frontend framework such as React, Angular, Vue, or similar, plus TypeScript.
  • Strong experience building backend services with ASP.NET and designing or consuming REST APIs.
  • Solid relational database skills with MS SQL, including schema design, query awareness, and performance basics.
  • Practical experience using Postman for API validation and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services in a product engineering context.
  • Familiarity with Git-based workflows, including pull requests, code reviews, and engineering documentation.
  • Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants in a Human → AI → Human review loop with human accountability.
  • Ability to maintain supporting documentation such as READMEs, architecture notes, and engineering guidelines.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA-related handling of PHI, including never placing PHI in code, logs, tests, commits, or error messages.
  • Comfort working with synthetic or mock data and secure coding practices such as no hardcoded credentials, least-privilege access, and safe error handling.
  • Awareness of Agile QA processes, including acceptance criteria validation, defect triage, and release readiness.
  • Healthcare or dental domain experience is preferred.
  • Experience contributing to a greenfield product from early stages is preferred.
  • Experience building interactive or dynamic UI features such as data visualization, image manipulation, or real-time interfaces is preferred.
  • Familiarity with authentication flows and securing SPAs and APIs in enterprise environments is preferred.
