Description

  • Own end-to-end verification and validation from design through production.
  • Design and execute test strategies covering edge cases, failure modes, and real-world scenarios.
  • Build and maintain scalable backend/API and frontend/UI automation frameworks.
  • Identify test coverage and system behavior gaps.
  • Lead root cause analysis and develop defect prevention strategies.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to improve test design, debugging, automation, and technical problem-solving.
  • Evaluate AI- and agent-generated work with the same quality standards as human-written code.
  • Improve test efficiency, reliability, and execution speed.
  • Mentor engineers and raise quality standards across the team.
  • Partner with engineering, design, product, and other stakeholders to build quality into releases.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in quality engineering, QA automation, or SDET roles.
  • Proven ownership of quality for complex production systems.
  • Strong programming skills, preferably in TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar languages.
  • Deep knowledge of unit, integration, end-to-end, contract, and regression testing.
  • Experience building backend/API and frontend/UI automation using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, or BrowserStack.
  • Experience integrating tests with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with mocking, stubbing, and test data management.
  • Strong debugging, critical thinking, system architecture, and risk identification skills.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools for testing, debugging, and technical problem-solving.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and advocating for prevention-focused quality practices.
  • Performance testing, BDD, microservices, high-scale, or fintech experience preferred.
  • US-based work authorization; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
