Description

  • Write and maintain Playwright end-to-end tests for critical product workflows.
  • Expand automated regression coverage across dashboards, detection workflows, device management, permissions, and settings.
  • Maintain clean, scalable test architecture and ensure tests run automatically on pull requests.
  • Own test suite and CI pipeline reliability, including diagnosing and reducing flaky tests.
  • Manage test data, seed data, staging stability, parallelization, and test reporting needs.
  • Use AI-assisted browser automation and LLM tools to explore edge cases and identify defects beyond scripted tests.
  • Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers on testing requirements and product flows.
  • Clearly communicate test failures, bugs, and reliability issues while driving QA improvements independently.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of QA, software testing, or test automation experience preferred; candidates with less experience may be considered with strong automation experience.
  • Strong TypeScript skills and ability to write maintainable test code.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or a similar end-to-end testing framework; Playwright experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of web application testing, DOM interaction, network requests, and asynchronous behavior.
  • Experience creating or maintaining automated regression tests and troubleshooting flaky tests.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of testing goals, and solve problems effectively.
  • Willingness to use and learn AI tools such as Claude or other LLM-based testing tools.
  • Experience building E2E infrastructure, integrating tests into CI pipelines, or managing test data is preferred.
  • Experience testing complex B2B, multi-tenant, role-based, or multi-step web applications is preferred.
  • Familiarity with React, Sentry, GCP Stackdriver, or similar observability tools is preferred.
