Description

  • Research threats across mainstream social platforms, the surface web, deep web, and dark web to separate credible signals from noise.
  • Produce BLUF-format intelligence reports that clients can act on immediately.
  • Work daily security and incident alerts and support recurring client intelligence deliverables.
  • Brief clients directly and respond to questions about credibility and relevance of findings.
  • Partner with Collection Management to improve the intelligence pipeline and reporting quality.
  • Decide when information is credible enough to escalate and defend that judgment when challenged.
  • Track and analyze threats spanning physical security, cyber risk, geopolitical developments, reputational exposure, and compliance concerns.
  • Complete onboarding certifications and independently own recurring deliverables within the first 90 days.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of OSINT and social media research experience, including executive threat assessments or investigations.
  • Ability to evaluate the credibility, value, and relevance of information across sources and explain that judgment clearly in writing.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including experience with BLUF-style reports and direct customer briefings.
  • Experience with at least one online investigative tool such as Whois, Ping, Traceroute, or similar.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite.
  • Working familiarity with surface web platforms, blogs, IRC, message boards, and deep/dark web environments.
  • Experience conducting studies on threat vectors, actors, or trends and turning them into recommendations (preferred).
  • Deep familiarity with deep/dark web tradecraft and threat actor platforms (preferred).
  • Project management instincts and experience managing customer relationships well (preferred).
  • Some college coursework in cybersecurity, intelligence studies, or homeland security (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of a threat landscape such as cybercrime, fraud, physical/corporate security, hacktivism, or geopolitical risk (preferred).
