Description

  • Complete a shared cybersecurity foundation module covering core concepts, attacks, phishing, networks, cryptography, and vulnerabilities.
  • Work in one of the Information Security Department teams on practical cases and day-to-day tasks.
  • Develop further in a chosen track such as Governance & Management, Security Engineering, Penetration Testing, or SOC.
  • Collaborate with experts and mentors while following team processes and professional materials.
  • Support the bank’s cybersecurity processes within a large financial institution.
  • Participate in scheduled training and team meetings and follow agreed procedures.
  • For Governance & Management, help build security governance, assess cyber risks, and support compliance and business continuity.
  • For Security Engineering, help design and maintain layered protection for infrastructure, endpoints, accounts, and digital identities.
  • For Penetration Testing, identify weaknesses in applications and infrastructure and help remediate vulnerabilities in test environments.
  • For SOC, analyze events and alerts, investigate incidents, and coordinate threat response.

Requirements

  • Hold veteran status, disability due to war, or war veteran status, or be in the process of obtaining the relevant status.
  • Be able to work officially at Raiffeisen Bank on a part-time basis.
  • Be available to dedicate about 10 hours per week for the full 6-month program.
  • Be comfortable working with technical instructions, asking questions, and independently researching information.
  • English level of A2 or higher, or the ability to work with technical materials using a translator.
  • Interest in IT or cybersecurity and motivation to develop in the field.
  • Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and keep commitments.
  • Relevant civil, military, educational, or volunteer experience in technology, analytics, data, communications, technical equipment, information systems, or procedure-based work is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in IT or cybersecurity is preferred but not required.
