Description

  • Onboard new customers and establish trusted advisory relationships from day one.
  • Manage an existing book of business for large, complex accounts.
  • Issue certificates and process endorsements for client policies.
  • Review new submissions and policy data for accuracy.
  • Process remarkets and develop risk mitigation strategies by reviewing leases, contracts, and loss controls.
  • Provide year-round stewardship and proactive relationship management throughout the policy lifecycle.
  • Support renewals by ensuring coverage remains optimized and retention is strengthened.
  • Advocate for clients with underwriters and collaborate with internal teams to deliver account service.

Requirements

  • Valid broker license for your province.
  • 5+ years of commercial insurance experience.
  • Experience handling high-premium, complex commercial files is strongly preferred.
  • CIP, CAIB, or CRM designation is a significant bonus.
  • Ability to perform audits on renewals and keep pace with legislative changes.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly and professionally.
  • Experience using a BMS, Salesforce, or similar digital tools to manage workflows and client data.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with underwriters and internal teams.
  • Persistent, agile, and solution-oriented approach to meeting targets.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills with the flexibility to manage a diverse, high-complexity portfolio.
