Description

Onboard new customers and establish trusted advisory relationships from day one.
Manage an existing book of business for large, complex accounts.
Issue certificates and process endorsements for client policies.
Review new submissions and policy data for accuracy.
Process remarkets and develop risk mitigation strategies by reviewing leases, contracts, and loss controls.
Provide year-round stewardship and proactive relationship management throughout the policy lifecycle.
Support renewals by ensuring coverage remains optimized and retention is strengthened.
Advocate for clients with underwriters and collaborate with internal teams to deliver account service.

Requirements

Valid broker license for your province.
5+ years of commercial insurance experience.
Experience handling high-premium, complex commercial files is strongly preferred.
CIP, CAIB, or CRM designation is a significant bonus.
Ability to perform audits on renewals and keep pace with legislative changes.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly and professionally.
Experience using a BMS, Salesforce, or similar digital tools to manage workflows and client data.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with underwriters and internal teams.
Persistent, agile, and solution-oriented approach to meeting targets.
Strong organization and prioritization skills with the flexibility to manage a diverse, high-complexity portfolio.
