Description

  • Work closely with product managers, designers, analysts, and engineers to deliver technical solutions to business problems.
  • Design, develop, and maintain features across the stack with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for the React Native mobile app and backend services.
  • Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
  • Lead by example through high-quality code, peer code reviews, and mentoring early-career engineers.
  • Own the testing lifecycle for features, including unit tests with Jest and end-to-end tests with Cypress.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues and improve observability and platform reliability.
  • Partner with DevOps and infrastructure teams on deployments, CI/CD workflows, and system performance.
  • Proactively introduce improvements to tools, processes, and technologies.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Experience working with a growing team and an early-stage startup preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient at writing complex and efficient SQL queries.
  • Experience with Node, Express, React, AWS, and relational databases.
  • Experience with React Native, Redux, and Next.js is a plus.
  • Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field preferred.
  • Highly self-driven with strong problem-solving and research instincts.
  • Remote-first availability, with occasional travel to San Francisco as needed.
