Description

  • Collaborate as an individual contributor with engineering peers and feature teams through code reviews, mentorship, and shared technical direction.
  • Architect, design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters on GCP GKE and AWS EKS.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD systems for platform components using tools such as Argo CD or Atlantis.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve platform issues related to performance, scalability, and security.
  • Create incident response plans and post-mortem analyses for production incidents.
  • Drive automation to reduce manual operational work and improve reliability.
  • Partner with development teams to understand infrastructure needs and translate them into platform features and roadmaps.
  • Build internal tools and APIs as part of the platform product lifecycle.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices, including access control, encryption, vulnerability management, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps engineering, or a related role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with GCP and AWS.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including GKE and EKS.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform.
  • Proven software engineering fundamentals and coding proficiency in Go, TypeScript, or other relevant languages.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Argo CD, Atlantis, or similar technologies.
  • Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.
  • Self-organized, goal-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Prior experience working specifically on platform engineering projects.
