Description

  • Design and deliver platform-level software projects from conception through launch.
  • Build and maintain backend services and APIs that power portal experiences.
  • Build reusable frontend libraries, design systems, and developer tooling to accelerate delivery across product teams.
  • Own infrastructure concerns such as CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and observability for portal applications.
  • Drive frontend performance, accessibility, and quality standards across portal applications.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional partners to execute on platform initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and team professional development.
  • Help teams implement frontend changes across different areas of the product.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a software engineer building full-stack web applications.
  • Backend development experience with Python, TypeScript, or Go.
  • Proficiency in React and front-end best practices.
  • Experience working with distributed teams and strong asynchronous, written communication skills.
  • Strong fundamentals in computer science, data structures, and performance optimization.
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Information Systems, or a related engineering field.
  • Experience or passion for building scalable, enterprise-grade applications.
  • Growth-driven mindset with interest in increasing impact and responsibility over time.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Python/Django, React, and Postgres is preferred.
  • Experience and eagerness to leverage AI development tools is preferred.
  • Experience with large-scale web frontend applications is preferred.
  • Experience with front-end build tools is preferred.
  • Experience with micro-frontend architecture patterns is preferred.
  • Experience with web security, such as OWASP Top 10, is preferred.
