Description

  • Lead technical initiatives to automate network engineering work and improve global infrastructure reliability.
  • Develop and maintain software, codebases, tooling, and automation to support platform scale and growth.
  • Collaborate with a globally distributed team in an inclusive, operationally focused environment.
  • Prevent repeated customer impact by participating in major incident response and prioritized problem management.
  • Contribute coding and technical design work for distributed network services and cloud platform solutions.
  • Improve system resilience while prioritizing security, bug fixes, and feature delivery.
  • Participate in on-call coverage and address complex customer concerns.
  • Support cross-team engineering efforts that improve platform operations and customer experience.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience with product success delivering cloud network solutions.
  • Experience working with public cloud environments is advantageous.
  • Experience with Go is advantageous.
  • Experience with managed Kubernetes services is advantageous.
  • Experience designing or building a SaaS product in a public cloud is preferred.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Crossplane or Terraform is preferred.
  • Experience building Kubernetes-at-scale infrastructure across multiple cloud providers is preferred.
  • Experience writing product features or functions in Golang or other programming languages is preferred.
  • Experience with containerized services such as Docker is preferred.
  • Experience with Linux system administration on distributed systems at scale is preferred.
  • Experience with the Elastic Stack is preferred.
  • Experience leading cross-team engineering initiatives is preferred.
  • Experience working in distributed teams or remotely is desirable.
  • Experience in self-organizing and globally distributed team environments is preferred.
