Description

  • Collaborate as an individual contributor with engineering peers and feature teams through code reviews, mentorship, and technical alignment.
  • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform with reusable modules and testing practices.
  • Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters on GCP GKE and AWS EKS, including upgrades, networking, and high availability.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD systems for platform components, including automation of build and release workflows.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve platform issues related to performance, scalability, and security.
  • Develop automation to reduce manual operational work and improve infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring.
  • Partner with development teams to understand infrastructure and developer experience needs and translate them into platform features and roadmaps.
  • Contribute to the design, coding, testing, and deployment of internal platform tools and APIs.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices, including access control, vulnerability management, encryption, audits, and compliance with SOC 2 and GDPR.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps engineering, or a related role.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and proven hands-on coding experience.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP and AWS.
  • Experience managing Kubernetes clusters on GKE and EKS.
  • Strong experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
  • Proficiency in Go, TypeScript, or another relevant programming language.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Argo CD or Atlantis.
  • Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.
  • Prior experience on platform engineering projects is preferred.
