Description

  • Work embedded with customer teams to provide strategic cloud guidance and co-develop solutions.
  • Lead and execute cloud migration and modernization projects for applications and data.
  • Advise customers on technology decisions and help reduce risk and uncertainty during cloud transitions.
  • Design and implement infrastructure as code, containerization, serverless, CI/CD, cloud networking, and data analytics solutions as needed.
  • Work across Google Cloud and related tooling such as the HashiCorp portfolio and Kubernetes.
  • Apply first-principles reasoning to select the right tools and processes for each customer environment.
  • Collaborate in a fast-paced, remote, client-facing environment as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients in meetings, including on video.
  • Own customer success through proactive execution and collaboration.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience working with a major public cloud platform.
  • Experience with Google Cloud is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with common DevOps tools and practices.
  • Strong technical skills in at least one of the following: Linux system administration, networking, or MySQL/database administration.
  • Experience with traditional data center environments and technologies such as VMware, physical servers, storage arrays, networks, and firewalls.
  • Experience migrating applications from a data center environment to a public cloud is preferred.
  • Ability to write scripts and automation in at least one programming language.
  • Comfortable being on video in internal and client meetings.
  • Conversational proficiency in English.
  • Short-term contract availability for 12 weeks, with possibility of extension.
