Description

  • Implement cloud architectures defined by the Solutions Architect across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Support customers’ cloud deployments in a 24x7 operational support environment.
  • Monitor customer production infrastructure during 24x7 rotational shifts.
  • Improve monitoring and alerting systems through automation tools.
  • Prepare monthly operational reports for customers and present them on a scheduled basis.
  • Troubleshoot complex software applications and production deployment issues at the enterprise level.
  • Maintain and enhance existing enterprise infrastructure.
  • Work with open-source and off-the-shelf tools such as Chef and scripting languages to manage infrastructure reliably.
  • Lead and guide the team in identifying and implementing new technologies.

Requirements

  • Strong Windows and Linux systems administration skills.
  • Experience migrating and architecting complex multi-tier applications to private or public cloud infrastructure.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills for updating customers and internal teams on issues, escalations, and RCAs.
  • Ability to communicate architecture visually to customers and internal teams.
  • Prior experience working on AWS, GCP, and Azure is preferred.
  • AWS Cloud Solutions Architect Associate or Professional certification is preferred.
  • RHEL Certified Engineer, Azure certification, or Snowflake certification is preferred.
  • Configuration management experience with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet is preferred.
  • Passion for helping customers succeed and comfort working on production troubleshooting.
  • Availability to participate in 24x7 rotational support shifts.
