Description

  • Serve as the senior technical authority on the practical application of advanced AI and machine learning.
  • Partner with sales and business development teams to scope opportunities, design proposals, and support client pitches.
  • Lead architecture and design of secure, scalable AI solutions that go beyond standard API integrations.
  • Collaborate with Cloud & Data Architects to design and deploy end-to-end client solutions.
  • Design private, data-sovereign AI systems that meet GDPR and data privacy requirements.
  • Ensure solutions incorporate model explainability, bias mitigation, and ethical safeguards.
  • Architect hosting, fine-tuning, and optimization approaches for proprietary and open-source models on hyperscaler platforms.
  • Guide clients in selecting cloud-native technologies and prioritizing Google Cloud for production-grade agentic systems.
  • Mentor customers and internal engineering teams on training, model serving, and agentic system best practices.
  • Own the financial architecture of AI solutions, including ROI analysis and cost-optimization strategies.
  • Contribute to Zencore’s external thought leadership through blogs, talks, and community engagement.
  • Provide hands-on leadership as a player-coach and help build a culture of technical excellence.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, natural sciences, mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Extensive experience in a senior or principal architect role.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering complex, production-grade machine learning systems with measurable business value.
  • Deep hands-on architectural experience with at least one major cloud platform, such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Direct hands-on experience with Google Cloud, including Vertex AI, GKE, and TPUs, is a significant plus.
  • Proven expertise in LLM optimization techniques such as quantization, pruning, and efficient fine-tuning like LoRA.
  • Experience with high-performance model serving tools such as vLLM or TensorRT-LLM.
  • Hands-on experience with high-performance ML frameworks such as JAX or PyTorch/XLA.
  • Experience designing and deploying agentic workflows using tools such as LangGraph, LangChain, Google ADK, Vertex AI Agent Builder, or LangSmith Agent Builder.
  • Strong understanding of secure, private, and data-sovereign AI solution patterns.
  • Experience with LLM observability and evaluation frameworks such as LangSmith, LangFuse, or Vertex AI Evaluation.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Passion for mentoring and continuous learning in the fast-evolving AI landscape.
  • Must be based in the EU or UK; visa sponsorship is not offered.
